Part 3 : Three "feature" questions
Which website do you visit most often and why?
That's easy, our own. It's my start page. Otherwise, I do spend an awful lot of time reading new articles from List-Universe.com. Each day they send out a mailing list in digest form that keeps me abreast of developments within the email publishing industry. Each summary comes with a link to the full story on their site. So I probably visit their site just about every weekday.
A close second is F--kedCompany.com [a little light editorial control exercised here]. It serves as a news source of what companies are struggling to make it; I use this news source to weed out potential partners that may not make it in the long-term and to keep financially unhealthy advertisers from getting trade credit from our company. Also, I like to see where other companies went wrong with their "big ideas", so that we do not become victims of their fate (buy-outs, sell-offs, and bankruptcies, oh my!). Not to mention it's so much fun to bet on who's going down next.
What did you last buy online and why did you choose that site?
Staples.com... we always buy office products from there. It's easy, convenient and reliable. Once they even sent us some gift pack of paper clips, pens and some other junk just for using Staples.com. Everyone loves getting free junk, right?
What would you miss most about the Internet?
No!! Please don't take away my Internet. What will I do without email and instant online stock quotes? Please, I must be able to auction off my extensive collection of belly button lint on Ebay. And how would my bills get paid without automatic online bill payment - don't tell me I have to write checks again? And you mean to tell me that I'd have to go shopping at the... the... the mall again, even for books? No!!!! But most of all, where would I work? Please let it be, I'll give you whatever you want.
One of those rubber chickens would do fine. Thanks Aaron!
