Part 3 : Five "Feature" Questions

Which website do you visit most often, and why?
Well, other than the IBF sites, the answer is probably Soccernet and the homepage of Liverpool Football Club

I'm a big soccer fan, and like to keep up with what's going on back home. My son was sort of named after Liverpool's striker Michael Owen, but being half Austrian, he'll probably end up a skier.

What did you last buy online, and why did you choose that site?
A copy of email marketing by Jim Sterne from , so I can take it with me on holiday next week. I buy through amazon.de because they offer US titles at standard exchange rates, and shipping is free to Austria. If I want to order an English-language title from an Austrian bookstore, it can take weeks, and I pay a hefty exchange premium. Amazon.de gets it to me in 2 weeks maximum, with no exchange premium, and I don't have to go pick it up from the store.

What would you miss most about the Internet?
Here's where I should say all the great friends I've made through the Internet, and I certainly would miss them a lot. But if I'm honest, probably the thing I'd miss most would be the real time soccer score updates from England.

What was the best piece of web advice you ever got?
I'm lucky to be working with some of the best Internet brains around, so I'm spoilt for choice. I got the Newhoo tip from Danny Sullivan's Search Engine Watch newsletter, so I guess that was the best.

Which web personality would you most like to have dinner with, and why?
Any of my colleagues; it would be nice to meet them in the flesh just once. Otherwise, a candlelit dinner for two with my wife would be great. She's a web personality in my book.
